Eotettigarcta scotica
Taxonomy
Eotettigarcta scotica was named by Zeuner (1944). Its type specimen is BMNH In 38883, a hindwing (anal lobe missing, apex damaged), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Ardtun Head, Isle of Mull, which is in a Thanetian lacustrine claystone/sandstone in the interbasaltic plant-beds Formation of the United Kingdom.
