Palaeomacromia multicellulata
Taxonomy
Palaeomacromia multicellulata was named by Petrulevičius et al. (1999). Its type specimen is MLP 28157, a forewing (Basal 4/5 of forewing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is La Mendieta, which is in a Paleocene lacustrine - small shale/bindstone in the Maíz Gordo Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Palaeomacromia.
