Taxonomy

Goldenbergia was named by Scudder (1885). Its type is Goldenbergia glomerata.

It was assigned to Stenodictyopteridae by Laurentiaux (1953); and to Dictyoneuridae by Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1919), Handlirsch (1922), Bolton (1925), Guthörl (1934), Carpenter (1992).
