Tennentsia protuberans
Taxonomy
Dysmorphoptiloides protuberans was named by Riek (1974). Its type specimen is C-Dt II 342, a wing (only apex preserved), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Birds River (Bir 111), which is in a Carnian lacustrine - small shale in the Molteno Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Tennentsia.
It was recombined as Tennentsia protuberans by Riek (1976), Szwedo and Huang (2019).
