Liassophila hydromanicoides
Taxonomy
Liassophila hydromanicoides was named by Tillyard (1933). Its type specimen is BMNH I 6650, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Binton, Warwickshire (Tomes collection), which is in a Planorbis marine shale/limestone in the Blue Lias Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Liassophila.
