Oecophylla eckfeldiana
Taxonomy
Oecophylla eckfeldiana was named by Dlussky et al. (2008). Its type specimen is NHMM PE2000/8, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Eckfeld Maar (NHMN 2000 collection), which is in a MP 13 crater lake siltstone/shale in the Eifel Formation of Germany.
