Lasius occultatus

Taxonomy
Formica occultata was named by Heer (1849). Its type specimen is UMJG&P 77.499, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Radoboj (Grätz Collection), which is in a Sarmatian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Croatia.

It was recombined as Lasius occultatus by Mayr (1867), Pongrácz (1928), Bolton (2012), Dlussky and Putyatina (2014).
