Tuphephialtites zherikhini
Taxonomy
Tuphephialtites zherikhini was named by Zhang et al. (2002). Its type specimen is LBSH98019/NIGP134560, an exoskeleton (Antennae and legs incomplete, distal half of metasoma not preserved, otherwise nearly complete.), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Huangbanjigou, Shangyuan Town, NIGP collection, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China. It is the type species of Tuphephialtites.
