Taxonomy
Anodontophora subovalis was named by Spath (1935). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Cape Stosch, Stensiƶ Plateau, locality 648, which is in a Griesbachian marine siliciclastic in the Wordie Creek Formation of Greenland.
