Taxonomy
Minyohelea casca was named by Borkent (1997). Its type specimen is SMNS OB-38-X, an exoskeleton (adult male), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Golling, which is in a Hauterivian terrestrial amber in Austria.
