Curiosivespa derivata
Taxonomy
Curiosivespa derivata was named by Carpenter and Rasnitsyn (1990). Its type specimen is PIN 3559/4527, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559, outcrop 87/8), which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Dzun-Bain Formation of Mongolia.
