Taxonomy
Endymionia was named by Billings (1865) [Sepkoski's age data: O Aren-u O Llvi-l Sepkoski's reference number: 2]. It is not extant. Its type is Endymionia meeki.

It was assigned to Endymioniinae by Fortey (1975) and Fortey (1975); and to Raphiophoridae by Jell and Adrain (2002).
