Taxonomy
Carinthiaphyllum eostrotionideum was named by Zhu and Zhao (1992). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jingzishan, Pengze County (Parawentzellophyllum assemblage), which is in a Sakmarian carbonate limestone in the Chuanshan Formation of China.
