Taxonomy
Parawentzellophyllum lepingense was named by Zhu and Zhao (1992). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yongshan, Leping County (Parawentzellophyllum assemblage), which is in a Sakmarian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Chuanshan Formation of China.
