Pimpla saxea

Taxonomy
Pimpla saxea was named by Scudder (1877). Its type specimen is GSC 31, an exoskeleton (fragment of a body with wings), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Quesnel, which is in a Priabonian lacustrine shale in the Australian Creek Formation of Canada.
