Formica arcana

Taxonomy
Formica arcana was named by Scudder (1877). Its type specimen is GSC 10a, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Quesnel, which is in a Priabonian lacustrine shale in the Australian Creek Formation of Canada.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Carpenter (1930).
