Cenocimbex menatensis
Taxonomy
Cenocimbex menatensis was named by Nel (2004). Its type specimen is MNHN-LP-R 11195, an exoskeleton (incomplete specimen with antennae missing & right wing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Menat (MNHN collection), which is in a Selandian crater lake diatomite in the Menat Formation of France. It is the type species of Cenocimbex.
