Pseudocimbex clavatus
Taxonomy
Pseudocimbex clavatus was named by Rohwer (1908). Its type specimen is UCM 18614, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Florissant, Fossil Stump Hill, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Pseudocimbex.
