Taxonomy
Pseudomerope gallei was named by Kukalová-Peck and Willmann (1990) [Charles University, Prague]. Its type specimen is CUP 16/1989, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Říčany, southern bank of ravine, which is in an Asselian lacustrine claystone in the Padochov Formation of the Czech Republic.
