Athalia wheeleri
Taxonomy
Eriocampa wheeleri was named by Cockerell (1906). Its type specimen is AMNH Fl 18871, an exoskeleton (body with wings attached, missing abdomen ), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Florissant, Station 14, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.
It was recombined as Athalia wheeleri by Zhelochovtzev and Rasnitsyn (1972).
