Taxonomy
Hammapteryx paucistriata was named by Henriksen (1922). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Struer (Copenhagen coll), which is in a Ypresian offshore ramp mudstone in Denmark.
It was recombined as Henriksenopterix paucistriata by Petrulevičius (2005).
