Taxonomy
Shurabia minuta was named by Rasnitsyn (1982). Its type specimen is PIN 2069/1742, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Madygen, PIN collection 2069, Dzhailoucho area, which is in a Ladinian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Madygen Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
