Bandelnielsenia chilena
Taxonomy
Bandelnielsenia chilena was named by Martins-Neto and Gallego (2003). Its type specimen is SGO.PI 5989, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Santa Juana, level FL2, Biobío River, which is in a Carnian lacustrine mudstone in the Santa Juana Formation of Chile. It is the type species of Bandelnielsenia.
