Dysmorphoptiloides acostai
Taxonomy
Dysmorphoptiloides acostai was named by Martins-Neto and Gallego (1999). Its type specimen is PZ-CTES 5772, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is 300 m W of Quebrada del Durazno, which is in a Carnian lacustrine delta plain shale in the Potrerillos Formation of Argentina.
It was recombined as Gallegomorphoptila acostai by Martins-Neto and Gallego (2006), Szwedo and Huang (2019).
