Parvaverrucosa annulata
Taxonomy
Verrucosa annulata was named by Poinar and Brown (2005). Its type specimen is OSU B-He-13A, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin Amber (Poinar collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Parvaverrucosa, Verrucosa.
It was recombined as Parvaverrucosa annulata by Poinar and Brown (2006), Heie and Wegierek (2011) and Wegierek et al. (2019).
