Bombus (Mendacibombus) beskonakensis

Taxonomy
Oligoapis beskonakensis was named by Nel and Petrulevičius (2003). Its type specimen is MNHN-LP-B.47780, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bes-Konak, which is in an Aquitanian lacustrine - large diatomite in Türkiye.

It was recombined as Bombus (Mendacibombus) beskonakensis by Dehon et al. (2019).
