Taxonomy
Lasioglossum celinae was named by Petrulevičius and Nel (2003). Its type specimen is MNHN-LP-R.11185, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Dauphin, Bois d'Asson (MNHN coll.), which is in a Rupelian lacustrine horizon in France.
