Bibio styriacus

Taxonomy
Lithobibio styriacus was named by Beier (1952). Its type specimen is NHH Wien VI 2641 KK, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Parschlug near Steiermark (Ettinghausen coll), which is in a Badenian pond horizon in Austria. It is the type species of Lithobibio.
It was recombined as Bibio styriacus by Nel (1994).
