Mesepipolaea nanligezhuangica
Taxonomy
Mesepipolaea nanligezhuangica was named by Zhang and Rasnitsyn (2004). Its type specimen is NIGP L91466, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Nanligezhuang, Tuanwang Town, Laiyang City (Shandong Prov. Mus.), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Laiyang Formation of China. It is the type species of Mesepipolaea.
