Taxonomy
Ambarcader eugenei was named by Perrichot et al. (2006). Its type specimen is MNHN Cdl 2.28, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Cadeuil amber, which is in an Albian/Cenomanian terrestrial amber in France. It is the type species of Ambarcader.
