Taxonomy
Paracyclolites bakerae was named by Wells (1933). It is not extant. Its type locality is Brushy Creek, Round Rock, lower Buda Formation, which is in a Cenomanian shallow subtidal limestone in the Buda Limestone Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Areopsammia bakerae by Baron-Szabo (2009).
