Limalbocarpon readlynensis
Taxonomy
Limalbocarpon readlynensis was named by Nambudiri and Binda (1989). Its type specimen is SMNH-P2039.37, a seed/fruit, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is kaolin quarry, between Willows and Readlyn, which is in a Maastrichtian wet floodplain claystone/claystone in the Whitemud Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Limalbocarpon.
