Micropterix anglica
Taxonomy
Micropterix anglica was named by Jarzembowski (1980). Its type specimen is NHML In.17411, a forewing (greater part of forewing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (A'Court Smith collection), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.
