Entsyna was named by Rozova (1968) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Fran-l Sepkoski's reference number: 618]. It is not extant. Its type is Entsyna entsynica.

It was assigned to Trilobita by Sepkoski (2002); and to Ptychopariidae by Jell and Adrain (2002).
