Praeproapocritus vulgatus
Taxonomy
Praeproapocritus vulgatus was named by Rasnitsyn and Zhang (2010). Its type specimen is NND0223,0257/NIGP 151945ab, an exoskeleton (male wasp no antennae, incomplete wings & legs), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Praeproapocritus.
