Taxonomy
Daohugoa was named by Rasnitsyn and Zhang (2004). It is not extant. Its type is Daohugoa tobiasi. It is the type genus of Daohugoidae.
It was assigned to Daohugoidae by Rasnitsyn and Zhang (2004), Taeger et al. (2010); and to Daohugoinae by Wang et al. (2019).
