Anaglyphites mongolicus
Taxonomy
Anaglyphites mongolicus was named by Ponomarenko (1997). Its type specimen is PIN 3559/1608, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559, outcrop 35), which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Dzun-Bain Formation of Mongolia.
It was recombined as Mesocupes (Anaglyphites) mongolicus by Kirejtshuk et al. (2016).
