Taxonomy
Orthoscytina skoki was named by Becker-Migdisova (1961). Its type specimen is PIN 677/19, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Zelevyi Lug (PIN collection 677), which is in a Wordian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Kazankovo-Markinskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
