Taxonomy
Dictyoprosbole membranosa was named by Martynov (1935). Its type specimen is PIN 1152/1, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Baykaimskaya Listvyazhka (PIN collection 1152), which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Leninskaya Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Dictyoprosbole.
