It was reranked as the family Euthyrrhaphidae by Durden (1969).

It was assigned to Euthyrrhaphoidea by Durden (1969); to Polyphagidae by Anisyutkin (2008); to Corydiidae by Gorochov (2007), Evangelista et al. (2017) and Qiu et al. (2019); and to Corydiidae by Han et al. (2024).
