Taxonomy
Termitaradus mitnicki was named by Engel (2009). Its type specimen is KU-DR-023, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (SEMC coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
