Stenotegmocicada triclades
Taxonomy
Stenotegmocicada triclades was named by van Dijk and Geertsema (1999). Its type specimen is NM 2553, a forewing (complete forewing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Balgowan (Bal 111), which is in a Changhsingian delta plain shale in the Estcourt Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Stenotegmocicada.
