Taxonomy
Miohebrus anderseni was named by Garrouste and Nel (2010). Its type specimen is USNM Drake 12893, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Drake coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic. It is the type species of Miohebrus.
