Solenoparia (Plesisolenoparia) primitia was named by Zhang et al. (1980). It is not extant. Its type locality is Shuiyu, Zhongtiao Mountains, bed 21, which is in a Taijangian carbonate limestone/shale in the Hsuchuang Formation of China.
