Plecia parisiensis

Taxonomy
Plecia parisiensis was named by Gee et al. (2001). Its type specimen is PA 74 2/5, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Oise amber, Le Quesnoy, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial amber in the Argiles d'lignite du Soissonnais Formation of France.
