Proeurotica exhumata

Taxonomy
Psylla exhumata was named by Cockerell (1915). Its type specimen is USNM 61427, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Brodie coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Proeurotica.

It was recombined as Paleopsylloides exhumatus by Klimaszewski (1993); it was recombined as Proeurotica exhumata by Becker-Migdisova (1985), Burckhardt and Ouvrard (2012), Drohojowska (2019).
