Mesokristensenia latipenna

Taxonomy
Mesokristensenia latipenna was named by Huang et al. (2010). Its type specimen is NIGP 150460, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Mesokristensenia.
