Paraphaenogaster microphthalmus
Taxonomy
Paraphaenogaster microphthalmus was named by Dlussky (1981). Its type specimen is PIN 224/213, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Vishnevaya Balka creek, outcrop 4, Stavropol (PIN collection 224), which is in a Miocene lacustrine shale in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Paraphaenogaster.
