Bombus proavus

Taxonomy
Bombus proavus was named by Cockerell (1931). Its type specimen is MCZ 2940a, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Near Spokane, which is in a Langhian lacustrine - small mudstone in the Latah Formation of Washington.
