Taxonomy
Eugereon boeckingi was named by Dohrn (1866). Its type specimen is ZGI X 610, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Birkenfeld, which is in an Asselian/Sakmarian fluvial-lacustrine siliciclastic in Germany.
